Municipal Finance: Roles and responsibilities | On-demand course

This course reviews at a high level how municipal governments are organized from a legal perspective, and why that matters. You will learn the statutory authority given to certain positions in certain types of organizations, as well as what authority is not given in some cases. Finally, we review the responsibilities of three groups of municipal officials – the board, management, and staff.
