Join us on September 20-21, 2023 for the next NC Mayors Association membership meeting. Among the topics of discussion will be an overview and update on the 2023 legislative long session of the North Carolina General Assembly and how to effectively advocate on pending policy issues. We will also discuss media relations, crisis management, and an overview of the League’s new Technical Assistance Services Lines.
Pre-Meeting Opportunity: Metro Mayors Coalition Rail Response Workgroup Site Visit
In addition to the membership meeting, the Metro Mayors Coalition will be hosting the Rail Response Workgroup Asheville Site Visit on September 20th from 11:00 AM – 12:30PM. You are invited to join other mayors, local officials, and community partners to learn about efforts to improve and expand intercity passenger rail networks in North Carolina.
