In this webinar, you will learn first and foremost why bank reconciliations are so important and why it is so important that they be completed accurately and timely. You will learn about the use of a central depository and how that can benefit your government. You will review the proper treatment of returned items and how they affect your financial records, as well as how to use a daily banking report process to stay on top of your cash records. You will review a sample bank reconciliation in detail, and finally will learn about the requirements of the escheats process.
